Motorhome, Caravan, RV and porta-cabin electrical warrant of fitness and certification.
What a year 2020 was, but what it has done is convince more and more New Zealanders to explore their own backyard. But dusting off the caravan and getting your RV road worthy and electrical compliant means you also need to get your Electrical Warrant of Fitness (eWoF).
A current electrical WoF for a caravan, motorhome, RV or portable cabin is required by law in New Zealand if you will be connected to the 230 volt power supply. Safety is paramount, and the team here at R Corfield Electrical are able to issue a valid eWoF for 4 years from the month of issue. A warrant can only be issued by a Registered Electrical Inspector.
You will receive a copy of your eWoF together with the identifying sticker for the vehicle window and this will be issued to the owner. This is your proof of compliance.
We cover the wider Bay of Plenty area, so are able to visit on site for permanent caravans (travel charges may apply), or you can book and drop by our workshop in Te Puke.
